Café Albany Oz Freecycle™

This is the place for Albany Oz Freecycle™ members to drop in for a chat. to draw up a chair, pour a coffee and relax.
The café's method of operation is exactly the same as the main Albany Oz Freecycle site, though the Café rules are less restrictive than Freecycle, in fact there are only two....
Rule 1 - No discussion that other members could find offensive. This means no rudeness, no shoving religious or political views down other's throats, no bad language, racism or tasteless comments etc. In short it is respecting other members' feelings and also their right to hold views that aren't necessarily the same as your own.
Rule 2 - No direct selling. Defining this, you can advertise your garage sale or a local charity's fund-raisers and the like, but you can't use the forum like the local paper's For Sale column. Neither can you solicit for business on behalf of your company.
You can discuss anything you like as long as you don't violate one of these rules, so many things you would have liked to discuss on Freecycle but couldn't as it was outside the Freecycle framework are fine in the Café.
The Café is only open to Albany Oz Freecycle members.
